Shelley Morton has been designing homes and assisting her clients with projects for over 18 years.
She has hosted and produced, " Maritime Design" on Rogers TV and has written many Design columns which have been featured in " KV Style " as well as other publication such as " Occasion's Magazine."
Shelley has interveiwed a variety of Design celebreties for her columns and show such as: Sarah Richardson, Steven & Chris, Mike Holmes, Colby Ladner, former editor of House & Home magazine.
Shelley has a unique way of capturing her clients style, even when they are unable to articulate what they like.
At SMID our philosophy is that your home is your haven a place to retreat, relax, recharge and re-energize. Home means different things to different people for some it is elegant for others casual (or anywhere in between). Our goal is to make your space whatever home means to you.

We have long standing relationships with architects, contractors and sub-trades to help complete any type of interior, kitchen or bathroom project.
Shelley's design team includes interior and kitchen designers who focus on technical design, product sourcing and project management. The design team has the ability to create plans, elevations and photo-realistic 3D renderings of client projects using the latest design software such as Auto-CAD. This makes it easy for clients to visualize their interior design plan prior to installation.
